What themes do you find yourself returning to in your work?
–The exploration of art history. Especially painting in the past.

What parts of your practice do you find the most joy and freedom in?
–When I don't have any appointments, the family is taken care of, I have the whole day, and I'm alone in the studio, I can concentrate on painting. Then I can devote myself to my work with complete concentration and a clear mind.

What is the most challenging part of your process and how do you deal with it?
–Making decisions about which motif is worth painting and what color scheme should be used. Finding the perfect moment, when a painting is finished, isn't always easy
either. Sometimes it works better and sometimes worse.

What do you listen to in your studio?
–Hip hop or podcasts, it depends on my mood...
