With "always reach beyond the light", galerie burster presents an exhibition by Jan Kuck in which language, light, and material are closely intertwined. Kuck’s works transform sentences into spatial propositions: they appear not only as images, but as objects and situations in which meaning remains open and continues to move through space.

The starting point is the eponymous neon installation "Always reach beyond the light". Its white light, set against transparent blue Plexiglas, divides the sentence into three fields, making it legible simultaneously as image, invitation, and space for thought. The title suggests a movement beyond the visible, opening the exhibition to different perspectives on perception, language, and material.

This movement continues in works such as "BURN", "Honey, it’s all about Money", and "don’t sit on my face", where neon, historic textiles, Old Master frames, and furniture bodies converge. "ARACHNE" translates light into a delicate, almost immaterial weave, while "SORE POINT" gives visible form to the question itself. New chair sculptures expand the exhibition through objects that carry histories spanning more than a century while raising questions about the present.
"always reach beyond the light" does not formulate a conclusive answer, but rather a stance of continued thought. Questions are not closed, but placed within an open space in which light condenses perception, tension, and meaning, allowing emergence to take place.
